OOdal! kavidai!
Thaya,
Can I be a true and harsh critic for ur poems? I may be lil blunt at times. Its just my view on ur poems, nothing against u personally. Taking it or leaving it is up to you. I find a good poet in you. Just some views or suggestions may or may not help you. Nevertheless I would like to offer suggestions. I would not have asked this question to many of them, but I assume u are a sport and would take it cool or casual.
1) your 3rd and final paras are very good.
2) romba 'dee' serkamal irundal better.
Too much 'dee' is not good for health...:)...Tigattti vidugiradu.
A poem could be rated, 1. Not bad 2. Nice 3. Good 4. Great 5. Excellent.
This poem would be over all a GOOD poem.
I am not a poet or a lyricist. But u are one! These are just suggestions which I think would add grace to ur poems. My suggestions need not be right always. Its up to u to take it or leave it. If you give ur acceptance, I would be a strong critic for ur others poems too. If u dont want strong criticisms, just dont answer on this point. I would assume your answer is negative, and would offer only light or postive comments. I have also posted my comments on ur poem "edarkaaha mounam?"....plz read it....and based on ur comments on these two, I would shut my mouth or feel free to comment bout ur poems.

Thinker...
i thought you were going to say more in detail and about the first two paras.
was i wrong?
about the "dee"......
well...intha kavithela 'dee'thihadda koodaathu.
why?
well, this kavithai is nothing about calling a girl "dee".this all about teasing & missing one an other.(Poi kobam....oodal)
I think you didn't look into the kavithai enough.
'dee' has no meaning in this at all.puriyuthaa??
that was in an other.
"dee" enru pennai
solli kolla aasai
"daa" enru sonnaal
innum aasai kolla aasai.
inga thaan 'dee' paththi solliyirukku.and it suppose to have you think.
:)

Thaya,
noway..
just think of the following examples..
1.Enna amma ippdi pannutai?
2.Enna amma arivu illaiya?
Now amma means the same there...though the tone differs.
I feel addressing 'dee' or 'daa' is lil awkward at times. No harm meant. Esp husbands or boy
friends addressing their beloved as 'dee' just gets into my nerves! Same holds good for 'daa'
too! Sorry in case I hurt u.

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?
>>>Sorry in case I hurt u.<<<
why are you saying this althe time.and specially this time?
naan enna thoddaa odanjupora kannaadiyaa?methuvaa handle panna huh?
anyway,about the "dee"...
Now i started to detect in what sense your argument goes.
in that sense it's right.
see,I don't think i can call you 'dee'however i have friends i call them 'dee' or 'daa'.
and they are close.
it doesn't mean, going arround and calling daadee in unfamilier places to call or to be called.
oh that wasn't 'daadee' it's 'daa,dee' LOL.

Hey hey wait a sec!
" see,I don't think i can call you 'dee'"<<<<<<
Why the above sentence????
What i said was the general reference of di or da by tamil society.
Since this habit is pretty common, we have poetries too, which has lots of
dee and daa as essential ingredient to emphasise on the closeness and authority
over the said subject in the poem.
In a poem if u have one particular word said too many times, it gets lil
nausiatic. Same holds good here . Since the word used often is "dee" I probably
felt too dizzy bout the poem.
The comment is on the increased usage of ANY word, not only dee, but probably
because i have a hatred towards DEE and DAA I guess I said it with more emphasis.
"i have friends i call them 'dee' or 'daa'. and they are close.
it doesn't mean, going arround and calling daadee in unfamilier places to call
or to be called. "<<<<<<
Misunderstanding! I did not mean YOU using DEE or DAA anywhere. Its ur wish!
I meant on the increased usage of that word in poem only.
Geee!! what a sort of confusion!
:)

Apdi illai! You see none of us know the mood or intention with which we write some words, cause we cant see the face or expression. Some words which some of us mean it lightly or jovially or casually hurts others. So just a precaution.
I guess computer discovered or invented certain signs and wordings like.
LOL
:)
:))
Grin
hehe
haha
Cool
etc..just to say I am joking...Dont take it seriously...The absense of watching the face or hearing the tone is the draw back here.

>>>>Hey hey wait a sec!

Why the above sentence????<<<<
I used it to get the attention.and i think i did
;0
>>>>to emphasise on the closeness and authority the said subject in the poem.<<<<
Not Authority.always 'dee and daa' used for closeness.
mind this....who would use a kavithai to show authority?authority is outta question.
>>>>Since the word used often is "dee" I probably felt too dizzy bout the poem.<<<<
thats what i said Thinker.....in this poem dee holds no meening.it's just like a fullstop at the end of EVERY sentance.again...this kavithai is NOT about closeness. It's about "Oodal".
if you still talking baout "dee" and "daa",it's like......someone is standing in the middle of the road and pointing the hand in a direction, but you drive the person over.
what i'm saying is,when you look @ the direction of the poem you would not have noticed "dee"and recognized it.
you may do this.write that kavithai in tamil on a paper and take all the dee's out and try finishing the lines.and you will notice there are NO other word could complete the lines smoothly.though it's a harsh word, that's still finishes the lines smoothly.
>>>>probably because i have a hatred towards DEE and DAA I guess I said it with more emphasis.<<<<
I told ya,"You can't/not suppose to take the words litterally. If you still do...then you are doing that for the sake of argument i guess:)
Agreed with the 2nd post.though, can you pl.tell me the excact meaning of these signs?i know a few,but still?can ya?
just to evaluate for this forum.

Now I also realise there is no bindi in the word
vidavai.
