  Hei,
  The problem between all these guys in film field is because of an array of reasons.The main problem is that the success rate of films is lesser these days or the its not propotional to the increase in the capital investement require for taking a film.
  
  I attribute this phenomenon as the result of actions of both producers and the actor/director/technician team.
  
  You have to take the view of the producers that since Malayalam films have lesser audiance than tamil or hindi and since most of the Malayalees does not have so much "CINEMA MANIA" as the audiance of other languages.The chance for a film to become a success is very less.
  
  Most of the malayalees have the idea of watching a movies only after getting a good response abt the movie.So its the quality of the movie that is tested here.And in most cases they fail to be successful in this litmus test.
  
  So the artists must make sure that they give their 100% once they have commited their movie.And the producers should make sure that they should not impose too constarints for the artists to work ie They should not compell the artists to make a " FORMULA FILM ".I think its better for them to beleive in the talents of the array of artists he has chosen.Since we have a large collection of talented artists.
  
  The producers should not consider film industry as an instant money making tool.And they should be ready to face failures .....Because it is indirectly their artist selection which made the film to be a flop or hit.
  
  In the malayalam field .We like more homely stories than masala film.So its better we hear a natura story than hearing it with lot of unwanted ingediants.Each part of a movie should be so much attached to the movie.Ie a music should be there where music has to be and comedy should be as natural as possible rather than an array of comedians doing what ever they like.
  
  We have the problem of not having so many good villan atrists.By villan I dont mean one who has a big musthsch or big muscles.He can be any actor who can act as opposing the hero in the movies.we are still stuck to the concept that Mohanlal and mamooty can only be heros and narendraprasad can only be a villan.Thats totally wrong.
  
  Cinema is for surprises...So why cant some of them the roles interchangingly which would make the movie scene more flexble....
  
  I hav lot more to write ...Its my personal openion.I know there will be hard critisisms on it..Any way I hav to express my thoughts

  i think samrtcritic ur somekind of in a right ponint...sree i heard the same thing too..i don't know wht will happen...disaster time for malayalam film industry....if one movie can pull the crowd then the problems will get lesser and lesser

  I haven't gone thru the whole thread, but my feeling is that both parties are guilty in this. Something that could/should be resolved thru discussions has been brought to the court. Now both sides are trying hard to save face which is all very good, but where 'ego's are hurt, they are going to have big problems in future. Both sides are going to 'show off' their authority and try to make things difficult to the other. Which is the last thing malayalam film industry needs at the moment. My 2 paise.
