How to play Ga in Arabhi on flute?, I was told it is played just like Ma, but somehow it doesn't sound alright. Any thoughts ?

  You play ga of Arabhi as a quick 'ma ga ma' - if you are a veena player, for playing 'ma ga ri sa' after playing ma you bring the finger(s) to the ga fret but immediately pull the string accross to generate ma and you should descend to ri without touching ga again - it is virtually a janta 'ma ma ri sa'.
