as some one who has read several RK Narayan's novels Guide and Swami & his friends were his best
in my opinion. You almost live every character portrayed in these at some point of time in your life.

I have actually read all of RK Narayan's Malgudi based novels except for The Dark Room which I could find in the bookshops of Kathmandu. I have enjoyed all his novels and particularly, I love The Talkative Man and The Man-eater of Malgudi. The Painter of Signs is not bad actually. His short stories are also superb. Anyone have read The Horse and the Two Goats. Really funny.

Im doing R K Narayns The Guide as one of the texts in my A Level Literature Course. The material for this novel is very scarce. Can anyone help me in anyway? Thanks
