I don't qualify to be a fan, but I have read his Blindness. It took me 6 months to finish the first 50 pages and 1 more week to finish the rest of the book. It is absolutely the most brutal book (in form and content) I have ever read. I make the book sound like a drag - it is nothing but. Very absorbing, ruthless and imaginative- I couldn't wait to know the way things are going to shape up once I crossed the 50 page mark.
