Making her debut through this movie , K.R.Vijaya , one of the very few long serving women artists of tamil cinema.
After a brief illness, she dies leaving a loving hubby GG in tears. The loss is irrepairable for GG and his grief knew no bounds.

The Director K.S.Gopalakrishnan summarises the situation through a very tearful song by P.Susheela Madam ( once again ! ) . The dead KRV appears like a ghost and consoles her mannavan GG.

Unnuyirai naan irukka
ennuyirai nee irukka

These 2 sentences are just enough to talk volumes about the song !

Throughout the song, the dead character sends some positive messages to the aggrieved GG and pleads him to normal life and take care of the kid .

The interludes are with sad chorus as PS goes to high pitch during the charanam .

A well crafted number .

Well known director completed half of the movie and got struck .He called Kannadasan and special show was arranged. Great KD suggested song here and same was super hit later date.

Our super star Rajini once said he saw this movie quite lot of time for this song alone.

FILM: BAAMA VIJAYA

SONG :VARAVU ETTANA SELAVU PATHANA.

one can see perfect beat for even small dance movement for this song. Nice guitar interlude. perfect situation song. You can enjoy this song and scene even today . Another ever green song from MSV-KB song.

Another KB movie with a good morale / message . Desire is the root cause for all evils. Live within your limitations and be happy with it. If you over spend, you will end up zero ultimately.

T.S.Balaiya, seeing his 3 songs going in different directions on seeing an actress residing next door, gets restless as he foresees trouble for the joint family set up and the craze for breaking tradition. Even the daughters in law join the queue and they revolt against his discipline.

So he uses their children and gives a befitting message through this very meaningful song

Beautiful tune and very well picturised song . And TMS ! its lead guitar and rhythm guitar playing a major role

The movie ends on a happy note with everyone realizing their mistakes and the family gets together

"KARPAGAM"

There will be no male singer in this movie. All the four songs
'Ayiram iravugaL varuvathundu'
'Aththaimadi meththaiyadi'
'Pakkaththu veettu paruva machaan'
'MaavanE azhalAmA'
were sung by one and only P.Suseela madam.

In the title card we can see only 'P.Suseela', and I hope (but not sure) this is the only movie came with only one singer's name in title. This is one experiment by MSV.

(In 'Oruthalai Ragam' eventhough there is no female singers, but TR used four male singers (TMS, SPB, JC, M.Vasu) for the songs.

'Varavu ettana selavu paththana' song will be sung by four actors in the movie, Balaiyah, Major, Muthuraman, and Nagesh.

But only TMS has sung for all of them.

This is another experiment by MSV.
