A week end song to ease ourselves and cool down after a hectic year 2006
I will not be overstating if I say that this song is poetic ! Lovely lyrics. Nice tune and harmonium interludes. Being played by MGR and Sarojadevi in streets when they go in pursuit of money to conduct eye operation for her.

Another movie which richly deserves the highest recognition for the splendid songs , sadly didnt get any award :shock:
But true MSV fans will never forget the movie as each song is unique and top class stuff .
One amongst is today's number . Balaji cajoling his murai penn as his Father forces him to marry her while he is in love with Vijayakumari ( the policekaran magal ).
As so many things are at stake, Balajee was forced to pretend as if he likes that woman and so comes the song.

The tune is so captivating that it will make everyone dance involuntarily !
The movie is all about an uneducated innocent Raman ( called Sappattu Raman ) who takes up a big challenge and becomes a genius of an actor ! Now the guess is easy no ? Yeah. Its Nadigar Thilagam only playing 2 sets of characters - the first half being an innocent Raman and the second half , a stylish Actor who has won the world but sadly could not marry his lover K.R.Vijaya.
Our SOTD appears when he sees KRV in his usual play area !
