RR, Deviyae naan saranam is a classical delight rendered excellently (what else do u expect from him anyways) by one and only SPB - its from the obscure file 'thanga thamaraigal' - please feature this SOTD thread someday - i got it from the highly promising but currently highly inactive 'ProjectGem' initiative which focuses on re-releasing old IR Gems....

thanks baroque. but i thought someone will have a collection directly ripped from CDs (for clarity). because i need to listen to mrdangam carefully and in low quality its very hard.

hey i really love bombay jeyashree and unnikrishnan (basically the CDs where mrdangam predominates as the accompanying instrument and the clarity of the same is top notch). i am only an amateur, just got into classical music because of my arengetram (mrdangam) and its so wonderful. however, with ARRs music, my true love has always been for those tracks with strong classical touch (although unknowingly). so i guess, my true fav has always been classical music. i pm'd my email. thx again. and hope this is really not too much truble. if it is, forget it.
