Yuvan is the MD for sure. Simbu has told this in an interview in Kumudham (last week). So there is no doubt in that....
He also said that Yuvan-Simbu combo has come out really well... :)

But, appadi onnum soldra alavukku illa... 3 promo songs are utter garbage... Am waiting for the other 2 or 3 songs... Especailly for the Ilayaraja-Shreya duet :redjump:

Aegan audio launch on Oct 9

The audio launch of Ajit's Diwali release Aegan is scheduled to take place on Oct 9 on the auspicious day of Vijayadasami.

It is a hattrick of sorts for Yuvan and Ajit after Dheena and Billa. The buzz is that the songs of Aegan are rocking. The shoot of Aegan is complete and there is just one song to be shot on the lead pair of Ajit and Nayanthara.

The unit will be going to an exotic place by first week of October according to a source close to the unit. There are five songs in the film, which is produced by Ayngaran International.

SUN pictures change release plans!

After Kadalil Vizhunden, SUN pictures had Thenavattu up their sleeves ready for release. Thenavattu was bought by SUN network recently from ELK productions. However, after scrutiny SUN seems to have decided to adopt the marketing strategy of Kadalil Vizhunden in the case of Thenavattu too. Four songs of

Thenavattu are planned to be reshot now. This comes in the wake of the success of Nakku Mukka song from the recently released Kaadalil Vizhunden.

Due to this change in plan, SUN has decided to release Siva Manasla Sakthi instead - that also stars Jeeva incidentally. Anaya plays his love interest in the movie produced by Vikatan pictures

Silambarasan’s Silambattam which was supposed to release for Diwali has been now been pushed to November.

The film which is very crucial for Simbu has been postponed as two more songs are yet to be shot and the actor is down with a viral fever. Otherwise the talkie portion, RR including DI for the film is done.

So now the likely Diwali releases are- Aegan, Seval, Guru En Aalu and Vaaranam Aayiram . In one way, producers Lakshmi Movie Makers wants a solo release so that the film takes a good opening. Albums are released 3 or 4 weeks in advance from the movie release date, so if Silambattam releases in November, I don't think they will release it now.
