Yes, I too like this song with video.

Was listening to Kodana Kodi song....its like a IR seductive tune given r and b treatment. Especially the stanza that comes after the interlude.

and by the way its my life is not a rock r metal song... coz there doesnt seem to be any live instruments! i dont think any rock artist in the world would go for programmed beats and strings....

I think Yuvan should do movies with Simbu. Though his movies are bad, Simbu-Yuvan combo churned out excellent albums, Manmadhan and Vallavan.

Simbu goes for other MDs if he isn't directing.

Simbu - Yuvan combo is a good one. But Vallavan la emmadi aathadi pottu, tharaticket rangeukku erangi vanthuttan simbu. :oops: I am afraid whether he will try to get unbearable kuthu songs in the future. Yuvan should avoid them.

my opinion is, when simbu-yuvan join hands, the quality will be good both in terms of songs and bgm. but the only thing that bothers me is simbu's "dandanakka" attitude will reflect in atleast two songs which spoil the quality of the whole album. Vallavan was one good eg. ammadi aathadi and kadhal vandhuduchu remix - indha rendu pattum spoilt the album completely :(

Manmadhan was :thumbsup: All the songs were good. I won't say I didn't like Vallavan songs. But emmadi aathadi spoilt the mood completely for me. It is a good combo. aana kettavan stills ah paartha :shaking:

Guys dont forget one thing, the most popular song of vallavan movie was .. yep 'Ammadi ..'. it was layman's favourite according to TV channels, FM's and Tea Shops.

i am not tryin to justify but the fact is, every one starting from director, producer, fans etc expect this kinda kuthu song in every movie.we (a minority in this strange TFM world) may not like these kinda songs but the fact remains a fact.

Good news for Ajith fans. The much-awaited movie 'Aegan', directed by Raju Sundaram and produced by Ayngaran Internationals, will hit the screens this September.

The movie reportedly a remake of 'Main Hoon Na' was shot in Hong Kong and other exotic locales. Nayantara plays Ajith's lady love.

Buzz is that a major portion of the shooting has been completed and re-recording would commence soon. Sources close to Ayngaran International, said, 'we are planning for the release this September'.

Noted choreographer Raju Sundaram makes his debut as director with 'Aegan'.

After completing 'Aegan', Ajith would work for a movie to be directed by Gautham Menon.

I found this is very IRish rather than ARR touch and it reminds me a lovely 'friends' track 'Vanam Perusthan'

i thought aaja song sounds similar to an old movie 's song .. dunno the name ..
but murali is the hero .. charlie and others sing on the road side ..

Sema Kuthu song IMO.....Kuthu song is also one format(based on tamil folk)......I dont bother about format as long as the song tune is catchy.....thats it....

That is what we have been saying. I would put emmadi aathadi in the 'mattamaana kuthu' category. OTOH, I liked his remix 'en aasai maithiliyae' in manmadhan. In Vallavan also, we have 'Podu aattam podu'. Guess there is a difference :)
